Fassouh building commission holds first meeting
The commission tasked with investigating the reasons behind the collapse of the Fassouh building held its first meeting on Tuesday at the interior ministry, under the chairmanship of interior minister Marwan Charbel.

Sources told LBCI that the arrest of the building’s owners was carried out in virtue of article 18 of the engineering law which holds the owner responsible for any incident related to the building.

Meanwhile, many of the collapsed building’s residents received from the Higher Relief Committee Head General Bashir Ibrahim checks worth $ 750 and 8 million LBP to cover the furnishing fees.
