REPORT: Young woman mistakenly shot dead outside nightclub in Kaslik

Young woman Eliane Safatly was mistakenly shot dead outside a nightclub in Kaslik on Sunday after a man (H.H.) opened fire to protest his banned access to the club.   

This comes after young man Yves Nawfal succumbed to wounds he sustained in a shooting incident outside a pub in Kfardebian late on Friday.           

In the details, a group of young men ambushed two others – identified as Yves Nawfal and Saba Nader- on the backdrop of a personal dispute, targeting them with gunfire.           

Nawfal was in a critical condition whereas Nader sustained light injuries.               

The Lebanese security forces have been mobilized in a manhunt for the shooters and the instigator of the crime.
