Saudi Ambassador and Sheikh Chaar discuss Tripoli events

Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali bin Saeed bin Awadh Assiri met with the Mufti of Tripoli and the North Sheikh Malek El Chaar to discuss the recent events witnessed in Tripoli.

According to a statement issued by the embassy, Assiri praised the measures taken by the Lebanese Armed Forces to preserve security in the region.

Chaar underscored the importance of such measures that reassured residents, paying tribute to the Lebanese-Saudi relations. “Saudi Arabia has always held Lebanon’s security and stability as a priority”, Chaar said.
