Aoun: history book inappropriate for reading
Change and Reform Bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said on Tuesday that the history book “is not appropriate for reading”, adding that the book cannot eliminate events that have already occurred.

Following his bloc’s weekly meeting, Aoun said that the meeting discussed the 8. 9 trillion LBP issue, confirming that the Monday session will make quorum.

Commenting on President Michel Sleiman’s call on ministers to stop arguing, Aoun said that “in order to stop bickering, the cause of the bickering should first be eliminated.”

In his concluding remarks, Aoun confirmed that no settlement was reached in regard to the appointments issue, stressing that all parties are now convinced that principles should be applied in this regard.
