REPORT: Lebanon does not lack sorting facilities- Minister Chehayyeb to LBCI

Agriculture Minister Akram Chehayyeb said on Saturday that Lebanon does not lack sorting facilities but waste treatment centers.

 

Minister Chehayyeb said that municipalities will receive their funds from the independent municipal fund and from the revenues of landline phones.

 

Commenting on civil society movements, the minister said that protesting is a legitimate right so long as it aims to resolve the waste management crisis.
