Van loaded with rotten meat stopped in Furn el Chebbak

A patrol from Furn el Chebbak police department, affiliated to the ISF, stopped a van owned by Ayoub N.H. loaded with rotten meat on Friday. The confiscated spoiled meat will be transferred to a laboratory where tests to determine its validity. The patrol chased the van from Sabra where a large quantity of rotten meat was detected at the beginning of the week.

According to information obtained by Mount Lebanon police department, a meat storage facility near Shatila Refugee Camp in the presence of a representative of the consumer protection agency. 250 kilos of spoiled meat was confiscated and the facility was sealed upon a judiciary decision.
