MP Hekmat Dib to LBCI: Failure to hold parliamentary polls is reason behind economy deterioration

Change and Reform bloc MP Hekmat Dib said on Tuesday that “if the new electoral law will not be listed on the agenda of the next cabinet session, it will never be listed again.”

 

Dib’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he asserted that democracy is a dire need in the country and should be respected.

 

He concluded by saying that the failure to hold the parliamentary elections is the reason behind the deteriorating economy situation in the country.
