Lebanese army arrests member of Osama Mansour’s group in Tripoli

The state-run National News Agency reported on Tuesday that the Lebanese army arrested a member of Osama Mansour's group in Tripoli's Bab al-Tabbaneh region.

 

The agency identified the arrestee as Khaled Makkieh who was apprehended in the vegetable market of Bab al-Tabbaneh for partaking in attacks against Lebanese army positions in the northern city of Tripoli.

 

Militant Osama Mansour was killed last April by the security apparatuses during an operation to apprehend a cleric in Tripoli.
