Member of the Lebanese Forces bloc Fadi Karam noted in a speech that the alternative proposals concerning the presidential elections are presented on table of discussions between LF chief Samir Geagea and head of Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun.
However, conflicted reports emerged on whether the Lebanese Forces officials were aware of the negotiations between former PM Saad Hariri and MP Sleiman Frangieh in Paris.
In this context, sources revealed that Hariri discussed with Geagea during a meeting in Riyadh the possible alternative candidates for the presidency, including MP Frangieh.
