Speaker Nabih Berri stressed that “the situation is dark in the region,” calling on all the Lebanese to protect each other.
During Wednesday’s deputies gathering in Ain al-Tineh, Berri reiterated the need to exert efforts in order to reactivate the governmental process, stressing that the presidential election remains on the top of the priorities during the meetings.
On another note, Berri said that the region has been witnessing rapid unpredictable developments, noting that “there are signs indicating that new map with be redrawn based on the ruins of the Sykes-Picot agreement.”
