Change and Reform bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan stressed on Tuesday that the announcement of the Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea, in which he declared his support for MP Michel Aoun for the presidency, is not related in any way to the presidential initiative of Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
Kanaan’s comments were made during a phone call with LBCI’s Nharkom Said whereby he emphasized that differences over some issues can be resolved through understanding.
“We agreed with the LF on many issues and plans,” Kanaan added.
The lawmaker also said that his party gets on well with all its allies, noting that all the sides should welcome the agreement that took place between the Free Patriotic Movement and the Lebanese Forces.
