Change and Reform bloc: Geagea's nomination aims at unifying all Lebanese people
The Change and Reform bloc stressed  on Tuesday that Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea's nomination of bloc leader MP Michel Aoun for the presidency is aimed at unifying “all Lebanese people, not only Christians,”

The bloc’s secretary MP Ibrahim Kanaan said after the Change and Reform's weekly meeting in Rabieh that the bloc is capable of reaching agreements that surpass the existing political alignments.

Lebanon has been without a president since May 2014 when the term of Michel Suleiman ended without the election of successor.

Several electoral sessions were scheduled, all but one were held for a lack of quorum at parliament due to the dispute over a consensual candidate.
