One Syrian woman died in hospital Sunday morning after being transported from a border region, where she and another Syrian woman were found by Lebanese soldiers in poor condition due to the very cold weather, the Lebanese Army Command said in a statement.
The statement added that the women were admitted to the al-Mayas Hospital for treatment, after being found in the Masnaa border area as they attempted to enter Lebanon illegally along with five other Syrian nationals who were handed over later on to General Security.
