The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces announced Friday that Mount Lebanon police department arrested on Tuesday the Lebanese national identified by his initials Sh.M., while riding a Nissan Pathfinder vehicle, on charges of robbery through breaking and entering.

 

The detainee was charged with robbing vehicle tires shops, cigarettes, battery and clothes stores in the regions of al-Metn and Keserwan. The security forces also seized a pump-action rifle with its ammunition, a black mask and breaking tools.

 

 During investigations, the detainee admitted to several robberies, and selling stolen items with the help of another person.

 

The General Directorate called upon all citizens who were victims of similar crimes to report their to Mount Lebanon police station in Furn al-Shebbak region or to contact the number 01/292923, so that the necessary procedures will be taken. The call came based on the request of the concerned judiciary.
