Machnouq: What Nasrallah presented means the obstruction of elections

Minister of Interior Nouhad Machnouq said Monday that Arsal is occupied adding that no military movements can set it free, only its people can.

Following his meeting with Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdel Latif Darian, he confirmed that the municipal elections will take place on time.

On another note, Mashnouq stressed the importance of referring Former Minister Michel Samaha’s case to the Judicial Council, pointing out that “determination” comes through negotiations and talks not through resignation from the government.

On the presidential file going back to point zero, the minister stated that "the presidential election file has been stuck at point zero since the beginning," pointing out that "what Hezbollah General Secretary Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah presented three days ago literally means obstructing the presidential elections with a democratic smear. "
