REPORT: Trial of George al-Rif’s killer deferred until April 5
Sources reported to LBCI Thursday that the trial of a detainee who stabbed a Lebanese motorist fatally was postponed to April.

Beirut’s Criminal Court adjourned the trial of Tarek Yatim, who is the murderer of George al-Rif, to April 5.

George al-Rif died in July 2015 of wounds he sustained in a road rage attack that took place in the Beirut neighborhood of Saifi.

The dispute occurred on the backdrop of a traffic incident between him and another driver, identified as Tarek Yatim, who stabbed the victim repeatedly leaving him in a critical condition before passing away one day later.
