Lawyers to halt work Monday
Beirut Bar Association denounced Saturday that lawyers Zainab al-Hajj, Raed Hamdan, Zainab Dahboul and, Zaher Azouri, who is a member of the bar association’s governing council, were brutally attacked by armed men on Friday in Beirut’s Ramlet al-Baida.

Consequently the association held an extraordinary meeting in which it announced that all the lawyers will not attend any trials and will suspend work on Monday to deplore the assault.

The above mentioned lawyers were viciously beaten Friday as they made their way to attend a meeting in Ramlet al-Baida.

Armed men prevented the lawyers from entering the meeting and assaulted them.
