Former Prime Minister Najib Mikati received Monday the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil and discussed the general situation and latest developments in Lebanon and the region.
In this context, Miktai told reporters that “the presidential vacuum will last,” adding that there are no signals indicating that a president will be elected any time soon, due to the regional developments and the local disputes over internal affairs.
