UCC: General strike on Thursday if fuel price is to increase
The Union Coordination Committee (UCC) called for a general strike to be held on Thursday if Wednesday’s cabinet session was to issues a tax increase on fuel prices.
 
In a press release, the committee said that “it seems like most officials bailed out on citizens when attempting to issue such a tax increase in the name of treasury deficit.”
