No one believed killed or injured in Istanbul building collapse -governor

No one is believed to have been killed or injured when two buildings collapsed in central Istanbul on Friday, the local governor, Vasip Sahin, told CNN Turk in a live interview.

The two buildings, one of them five-storey, collapsed in a street near the city's busy Istiklal Avenue in the central Taksim area. A Reuters reporter at the scene saw clouds of brown dust seeping through the surrounding sidestreets.

The cause of the collapse was not clear.
