The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces announced Friday that “after nine months of the new traffic law enforcement, a significant decline was noticed in the percentage of road traffic accidents, related deaths and injuries.”
Here is a comparison of statistics on traffic accidents before and after the implantation of the new traffic law on the 22nd of April 2015:
Statistic from the 22nd of April 2014 till the end of the year showed that, 3450 accident occurred causing 460 death and 4525 injuries.
Meaning; there is a 45% decline in the number of accidents, 23,4% decrease in deaths and 41.5% in number of injuries.
