REPORT: Mixed reports over waste deportation scandals

220 days have passed on the Lebanese waste crisis, leaving streets stacked with half a million tons of trash.

 

The agreement with Britain's Chinook Sciences Company will be soon signed and finalized, and 75% of garbage will be deported, in accordance with health and environmental priorities, meaning that trash ​dumped in sensitive areas will be the first to be removed. However, the fate of the remaining 25% has been yet unclear.
