Former PM Hariri in Beirut on anniversary of father’s assassination
Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri arrived in Beirut at dawn on Sunday to take part in the ceremony held to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the assassination of his father, late former PM Rafik Hariri.

The ceremony will be held in Beirut International Exhibition and Leisure Center (BIEL) at 04:30 pm.

Hariri kicked off his meetings at the "Center House" or Beit al-Wasat by receiving head of the Progressive Socialist Party MP walid Jumblatt and his son Taymour, where they discussed the general situation.

He also received Lebanon's Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdel-Latif Derian as well as Interior Minister Nouhad Mashnouq.

For his part, Marada Movement leader MP Sleiman Frangieh phoned Hariri to "congratulate him on his safe return to Lebanon."
