Member of the Future Movement’s political bureau Mustafa Allouch said that the initiatives of nominating MP Michel Aoun and MP Sleiman Frangieh as presidential candidates were “improvised” and have not yet brought any result, noting that these initiatives must be associated with a deadline to be withdrawn in case they failed, in order to pave the way for a moderate candidate or a March 14 candidate to be nominated.
Speaking to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Allouch said that the objection over Aoun and Frangieh as presidents is not limited to the fact that they belong to March 8 coalition, but amounts to rejecting them as individuals.
