General Security arrests five Syrians for belonging to al-Nusra Front
The Directorate General of the Lebanese General Security arrested on Tuesday as per the Public Prosecution's order five Syrian nationals identified by their initials: H.M., M.M., A.S., R.M. and M.A., for belonging to the Al-Nusra Front group.
 
The arrestees confessed during the interrogations that they belong to the terrorist group, adding that they form a cell which mission is to carry out car bombings.
 
One of the arrestees, H.M., also confessed of being the "legitimate commander of Qalamoun and border town of Arsal, adding that he allegedly led an armed group in clashes against the Lebanese Army in Arsal.
 
He also confessed that the armed group kidnapped soldiers and approved a fatwa to kill soldiers Mohammad Hamieh and Ali Bazzal.
 
He also confessed to ordering Aa.L., who is known as "the Legal Abou Aisha", who is currently in custody, to film Hamieh's murder.
