According to Sukleen Company, the Karantina waste dump is no longer capable of containing any further loads of garbage, after it has received the waste produced by the capital Beirut for a period of six months.
Such a statement poses many question marks concerning the fate of the waste to be produced in the coming days, should a swift solution fails to be reached. Is Lebanon on the verge of a greater disaster?
