The fragile communities in Lebanon have become spread over 10.3% of its territories, while the number of regions hosting these communities has increased from 45 to 251 regions in 2016, according to a report issued by the Ministry of Environment evaluating the environmental impact of the Syria crisis on Lebanon.
In this context, the number of unofficial refugee camps increased from 1069 camps in April of 2014 to 5082 camps in December of 2015.
