REPORT: Samaha says ISF Intelligence Bureau threatened to harm his daughters
The military court of appeals rejected on Thursday the Defense's request to summon Milad Kfoury in former minister Michel Samaha's trial.

During the trial, Samaha claimed that “Jordanian security agents” participated in his arrest operation.

The session was dedicated to hearing the testimonies of Samaha's driver Fares Barakat and his secretary Gladys Iskandar.

Samaha also claimed during the trial that the Internal Security Forces “Intelligence Bureau threatened to harm his daughters and stormed his house in a barbaric manner.”

The court then deferred the trial to April 7.

Samaha was apprehended in August 2012 and charged with trying to carry out "terrorist acts," transporting explosives and planning attacks and assassinations of political and religious figures in Lebanon.

Samaha was sentenced in May 2015 to four-and-half years in prison, but in June Lebanon's Cassation Court annulled the verdict ordering a retrial.
