General Security arrests Syrian for belonging to terrorist group
The General Security announced on Friday that a Syrian national was arrested for belonging to a terrorist organization and facilitating the movement of fighters illegally into the neighboring country.
The directorate identified the Syrian national only by his initials as M.H. who was arrested for belonging to a "terror group."
The suspect allegedly confessed to having links to ISIS and trading weapons and ammunition at the behest of the group.
He also confessed of contacting Syrian accomplices Y.R., known as Abou Sham, M.H. (known as Qasaa) and F.Kh. (known as Abou Sakher), who are all ISIS members to facilitate their illegal entry to Syria.
The suspect was transferred to the concerned courts for further interrogations.
