Suspected killers of Kuwaiti citizens arrested, embassy hails Lebanon’s authorities

The Internal Security Forces Information Branch arrested on Friday two Syrian nationals suspected of murdering two Kuwaiti citizens in the Kahale region.

One of the arrestees, identified as A.H., is the janitor of the building where the Kuwaitis were killed. The second one was identified as S.M.

The Kuwaiti Embassy in Beirut hailed the Lebanese security authorities for arresting the perpetrators of the crime, expressing confidence in Lebanon's fair judiciary.

Earlier Friday, security sources said that the murder of the two Kuwaiti nationals took place about 18 hours before the discovery of the two bodies.

The two men were found dead with gunshots in the heads in two different bedrooms.

Sources reported on Thursday that two Kuwaiti nationals were found dead inside an apartment in the region of Kahaleh.

They were identified as Hussein Nassar and Nabil al-Gharib.
