The Labor Ministry ordered the closure of an office for recruitment of foreign domestic workers, owned by Zahra F. in the region of Chiyah.
Labor Minister Sejaan Azzi referred the case file to the Public Prosecution so that the necessary legal measures will be taken.
The closure decision came after the ministry’s inspection department ended investigations into an ad offensive to human dignity was shared by a woman identified as Nada S. through “Wahtsapp”, whereby the office suggested offering a domestic worker as a gift on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
The inspection body subpoenaed Mrs. Nada who confessed to cooperating with the recruitment office.
