REPORT: Women activists hold symbolic protest at Beirut’s Riad al-Solh Square
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, “My Nationality is a Right for Me and My Family” campaign staged on Sunday a symbolic sit-in at Riad al-Solh Square in Downtown Beirut.
 

The protesters called on the government to establish equal treatment for women in terms of the citizenship law, through granting them the right to pass on their nationality to their families.
