Mothers and families of Lebanese servicemen kidnapped by the Islamic State blocked on Monday a road at the entrance of a northeastern border town to mark Mother's Day.
The relatives arrived at Ain al-Shaab checkpoint, at the entrance of the town of Arsal to protest against the government’s negligence in terms of the dossier related to their loves ones.
Addressing IS’ Emir, they called for the release of their sons, saying that they will not allow anyone to control their fates.
The protesters said they held their protest on the occasion of Mother's Day to shed light on their suffering.
They also thanked Prime Minister Tammam Salam and General Security chief, Major General Abbas Ibrahim for their efforts in this regard.
