REPORT: Gunfire resumes in Ain al-Helweh following Friday clashes

Gunfire resumed on Saturday morning at Ain al-Helweh refugee camp, after clashes on Fridau night left one killed, Hussein Othman from Fatah Movement, and seven injured, including two members from the Palestinian joint security force.

 

Among the injured several were identified as Mohammad al-Tawil, Abed Mayali, Mahmoud Khodor, Afif Abdel Rahim and Mahmoud Zaydan.

 

The clashes had resumed on Friday evening and lasted till midnight, before conducting contacts and efforts accompanied with practical steps on the ground, including deployment of Palestinian joint security force members and other security forces in order to put an end to gunfire.
