REPORT: Hariri says ending presidential vacuum helps in eradicating poverty

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri stressed on Tuesday the importance of reactivating the work of the government in order to achieve an economic growth and to eradicate the poverty in the country.

 

During the launching of a campaign aimed at fighting poverty in Lebanon, Hariri reiterated calls to put an end for the presidential vacuum, saying it would help solve all of the country’s problems.

He also urged all Lebanese officials to put differences aside and pass a law submitted by MP Robert Fadel aimed at ending extreme poverty.
