Iran denies interference in Lebanon's presidential elections

The Iranian Embassy in Lebanon said in a press release on Friday that  “the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad FatahAli did not ask any diplomats to have the Vatican interfere in Lebanon’s Presidential elections."

The embassy denied what Head of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea told LBCI’s "Kalam Ennas" on Thursday in this matter.

“Iran considers Lebanon’s presidential file an interior matter which it will not interfere in, as any foreign interference will further complicate the file”, the statement added.
