Prostitution ring uncovered in Khaldeh, several people arrested

The Internal Security Forces Anti-Human Trafficking and Morals Protection bureau received information regarding the facilitation of prostitution for several women residing in an apartment in the region of Khaldeh, near Chamsine bakery.

The said bureau raided the suspicious apartment on April 06, 2016, where they arrested 9 Syrian, Egyptian and Lebanese women, as well as Syrian national identified as A. A., on charges of facilitating prostitution, noting that the latter has been transporting the women from their residence to the clients’.

 

The security forces seized the vehicle used by the man, and issued a search warrant against the mastermind of the network, identified as 46-year-old Lebanese Kh. A., who is believed to have a reputation of being involved in similar crimes.
