Hezbollah condemned on Wednesday the assassination of the Palestinian Fatah Movement official Fathi Zaydan in the refugee camp of Ain el-Helweh, considering the operation as "part of a scheme that is being plotted against the camps and the neighboring areas."
The party called for being aware of these schemes and the full coordination with Lebanon’s security forces.
A car explosion near the southern Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Helweh injured four people and killed an official from the Palestinian Fatah Movement on Tuesday.
The man was identified as Fathi Zaydan, a Fatah official responsible for the Palestinian camp of Mieh Mieh in Sidon.
He was reportedly attending a security meeting at the Mieh Mieh camp.
