Loyalty to Resistance bloc condemns "KSA’s efforts to harm Hezbollah"

Loyalty to Resistance bloc condemned on Thursday the pressure exerted by Saudi Arabia in meetings on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation summit  to harm Hezbollah and its reputation, calling on the Lebanese government to stand against it.

 

The bloc also stressed that the decision to drop Al-Manar TV by the Egyptian satellite provider Nilesat is unjust and political, adding that it violates the simplest laws and norms.

 

The bloc also noted that the priority to end the presidential vacuum does not justify for some political powers to neglect the country’s stability, the reactivation of the parliament and the drafting of a new electoral law.

Muslim countries have agreed to work together more closely to fight terrorism and other crimes and will establish an Istanbul-based center for greater police cooperation, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday.

Leaders from the Muslim world are attending a summit in Istanbul this week of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to discuss issues facing the grouping's 57 member states, including the humanitarian fall-out from Syria's civil war.
