Financial Prosecutor Judge Ali Ibrahim released on citation the contractor working on the Casino Bridge, allowing him to complete the maintenance of the bridge in order to preserve public safety.
The contractor was previously arrested for deliberately neglecting public properties and wrongfully spending public funds.
This came as public works on the bridge kicked off early in the morning on Tuesday to change the rails, resulting in a suffocating traffic jam.
Further investigations are still taking place.
