The case of George Abdallah, who has been detained in France despite the end of his sentence, was raised during a seminar for Head of the French Supreme Judicial Council Judge Bertrand Louvel with his Lebanese counterpart Judge Jean Fahed at the Justice Palace.
In the details, while Louvel was speaking before a number of ministers, judges and attorneys of the importance of the maintaining the independence and neutrality of the judicial system, a woman and a number of young men stepped forward and raised their voices calling for the release of George Abdallah, who has been detained inside French jails for 33 years.
