The Parliamentary Finance and Budget Committee finished off Tuesday its discussions and research on the waste file.
Head of the committee MP Ibrahim Kannan said after the session that they agreed to hand out the committee’s report to the deputies while sending a copy to the Competent Court.
“We will follow up with the waste file to keep it from being shut out”, he added
The deputy stated that signing off contracts with the same companies on same old terms, in attempt to solve the waste crisis is unacceptable.
Kanaan also requested a parliamentary session devoted to monitor the waste file.
