REPORT: Syrian refugee woman charged with transferring money to IS militants

A Syrian refugee woman identified as Rihab Hussein had illegally crossed the Lebanese-Syrian borders along with her kids and sick husband, who was diagnosed with an incurable disease and needed a massive amount of money for treatment which exceeded the family’s capabilities.

A Man identified as Khaled Zainoun heard of her story and offered to help her by having her transfer money from Ahmad Al-Najjar’s office in Beirut to the Lebanese city of Arsal, where she was handing over funds to terrorist Islamic State Members.

The woman was getting paid $150 for each round along with free treatment for her husband.

Beirut’s Military Investigation Judge Riad Abou Ghida pressed charges against Mrs. Hussein considering her a partner in the crime, for she was receiving money to help the transfer of illegal funds to the terrorist group.
