Defense Minister Moqbel stresses from Moscow importance of supporting Lebanese army

Minister of Defense Samir Moqbel said on Thursday that "Lebanon is the first line of defense against terrorist attacks."

Moqbel’s comments were made from Moscow during his official visit whereby he added that the Lebanese army is addressing the aggressors on the border along with cracking down on terrorist cells across the country.

He also reiterated the importance of providing the Lebanese army a​nd all security apparatuses with all needed ammunition, equipment and training as well as  ensuring the country’s economic, security and social stability.
