REPORT: Tens of trucks stranded in Saudi Arabia

Tens of refrigerated trucks remain stranded at the Duba port in Saudi Arabia for two consecutive weeks, after a decision issued last July by the cabinet to support the agricultural products for seven months expired.

The trucks’ owners raised their complaints, hoping that the support will resume.

In this context, Nabil Itani Chairman of the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL), which has been implementing the decision, told LBCI that the Lebanese cabinet is intending to tackle this issue during next session, in a bid to renew the decision’s term.
