Supporters of Powerful Iraqi Shi'ite Muslim leader Moqtada al-Sadr gathered last Saturday in the Great Celebrations square, which was constructed in Baghdad in the era of the President Saddam Hussein to celebrate the country’s victory in the Iraq–Iran war, calling on the latter not to intervene in Iraq.
