A security coordination meeting was held Thursday at Baalbek Serail under the chairmanship of Baalbek-Hermel governor Bashir Khodor, who expected that the municipal elections will take place smoothly without any incidents, noting that the security measures to be implemented will vary from town to another, depending on the intensity of the situation.
Commenting on postponing the elections in a number of villages, Khodor said such a decision remains in the hands of the Interior Ministry.
