Lebanese army: No ease with any obstacle against elections in Beirut, Bekaa

Lebanese Army Command's Guidance Directorate issued on Friday a communiqué whereby it noted that the Lebanese army will not stand idly by with any act of sabotage or attempt to hamper the course of the municipal and mayoral elections in Beirut and Bekaa scheduled for next Sunday, indicating that the army is taking full military measures in this regard.

The army called upon citizens to respond to the measures in favor of their security and peace and to inform the army of any security incident in case it happened.
