Residents of the border town of Arida blocked Sunday the road linking Lebanon to Syria in both directions to protest over the arrest of Fadi Mohammad Ismail and Walid Ahmad al-Ali.
The two citizens were detained by the military, without specifying the reason behind their arrest.
The army also seized the boat of the two men.
The circumstances of the incident remain unclear.
