Future bloc expressed satisfaction Tuesday that Mount Lebanon’s municipal elections were held normally and in a democratic way.
The bloc also hailed the efforts exerted by the Interior Ministry, the security apparatus and all the sides that followed up the polls.
In its weekly meeting, the bloc called upon the parliamentary blocs to swiftly elect a new president in order to put an end to the presidential vacuum, which is ongoing “due to the control of Hezbollah’s illegal arms, the same party that is supporting the Free Patriotic Movement’s boycott of the presidential election sessions.”
On another note, the bloc strongly condemned the stance of Hezbollah’s parliamentary bloc, which has called on Lebanese banks not to abide by the regulations of the international financial system, knowing that all world countries respect this system.
